The Oregon Zoo’s Maintenance Team is hiring for an Aquatics Life Support Maintenance Worker. The LSS team is looking for new ways to conserve water and electricity by upgrading equipment and changing operational practices. The LSS team is responsible for the operation a number of fresh and saltwater systems that support marine mammals, elephants, cats, beaver/otters and a collection of fish and invertebrates. Summary
The Associate Director position oversees both the Maintenance Supervisor and the Exhibits Supervisor positions. This position also supervises the Maintenance Record Keeper position.
Works in conjunction with the Director of Living Collections, Exhibits and Maintenance to direct all functions of the Maintenance and Exhibits departments including goal and project timeline setting, evaluating department activities, and collaborating with department staff.
